The good old Musical Fountain in Sentosa was being earmarked for demolition to make way for the up and coming I.R. The Government made an announcement with their plans to build a new musical fountain in the sea, with promises of it being much better and much more to offer.

Perhaps not so surprising is the entrance fees, which was never implemented in the old Musical Fountain, as audiences need to pay S$6/. per person to catch the performance.

So, what's so special about this brand new musical fountain to command a S$6/. entrance fee per head?

Well, you're in for a pleasant surprise as I found that out myself. Pyrotechnics, laser beams, songs and dance... nicely chereographed with some exciting and striking display of 'colours being splashed' onto the seawater curtains.

I love it tremendously.

Fireworks!!! YEAH!! So this is where the bulk of my S$6 goes to!

Oh yes, i'm a member of Sentosa so I got a rebate of S$2/. Thus, i pay only S$4/.

Finale! Nice. Sentosa's Songs of the Sea is indeed, ok, worth the $$.
